About Me

Most bloggers or personal homepages write a quick bio as a second column on their pages. I don’t, and maybe I’ll write up my thoughts some day on why. But since you’re here, let me share a bit about myself.

My name is Dylan Wang and I am a senior at University of California, Davis studying computer science. I have a passion of making and playing games and I try to document my work here. I also share other random wonderings here when I feel like writing them down. See my post here on a variable base system…

For the past 4-5 years I have been working on supercomputer interconnect research, focusing most recently on the Dragonfly interconnect in supercomputers such as NERSC‘s Edison and Cori. I have presented my work on Edison at Supercomputing 2014 (see here).
